Shark Coffee
A moment to unwind in the city.
Located in Udagawacho, SHARK COFFEE pairs roaster-curated blends and customizable lattes with gluten-free, vegan baked goods and signature shark-fin cookies.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Tucked into Shibuya's Udagawacho neighbourhood, SHARK COFFEE offers house blends crafted to match specific roast profiles alongside lattes with tailored milk options. The signature SHARK BLEND combines a light Ethiopian Mocha with medium and dark Ugandan roasts, while espresso drinks made with Hokkaido grass-fed milk can also be prepared with organic soy milk or organic oat milk. A decaffeinated latte, a chai latte made with organic adjusted soy milk, and cold-brew iced tea steeped from unsprayed Kenyan leaves round out an adaptable drinks list.
The food and pastry counter emphasizes gluten-free and vegan alternatives. Beyond the playful, fin-shaped shark cookies that nod to the shop's name, the case features rich Kyoto-tofu fresh chocolate and strong matcha cakes, as well as rice-flour brownies. Savory choices are equally thoughtful, spanning rice-flour pizzas, baked curry buns, and coarse-ground franks—convenient options for an unhurried brunch or midday bite.
Sunlight fills the quiet interior, where expansive sharing tables sit alongside low, comfortable sofa seating. Dogs are welcome both indoors and out, and items are available to take away, making this an easy respite whenever you want to step away from Shibuya's busier avenues.
